Jaclyn quickly discovered her love of dance at the age of three and hasn’t stopped moving since. During her years of training under the direction and guidance of Nicole Aravena, she was the recipient of many scholarships and awards at both regional and national competitions. Although she has studied extensively in all genres, she has always been drawn to the style, sophistication and energy of jazz dance and thoroughly enjoys passing on this particular love to her students. While in high school, her love of dance blossomed into a passion for teaching and choreographing, which she has been fortunate to do for over ten years. As the Co-Director of the highly respected Seven Star School Competitive Performance Team, she thrives on watching her students progress year after year (from Kinder Company members to graduating seniors!) Under her direction, her students have been recognized and awarded regionally, nationally and internationally for their technique, style and performance qualities. Jaclyn has also been recognized for her outstanding and creative choreography over her tenure. She demands focus, hard work and attention to detail from all of her students, always creating a positive, uplifting and energetic vibe in her classes. Jaclyn is a graduate of Fordham University, earning her B.S. and MBA in Marketing.
