Catie Leasca

Originally from Massachusetts, Catie Leasca has danced across the United States and abroad in Israel, France, Belgium and Germany. She received her initial training at Betty Gundersen Studio of Dance in West Brookfield. In 2011, Catie traveled to Riesa, Germany to compete on the United States Dance Team as a semi-final soloist through the International Dance Organization. At 17, she moved to NYC and was a Jazz and Contemporary trainee at the Joffrey Ballet School. She then went on to receive her B.F.A. in Dance, with honors, from the University of the Arts in May, 2017. Since graduating, Catie has relocated to Brooklyn, NY and has received a space grant through Chez Bushwick/UArts creative exchange, has presented her work at Center for Performance Research, Triskelion Arts, School for Contemporary Dance and Thought, Gershman Y Gym Theater, and Salt Dance Fest. She has worked professionally with Netta Yerushalmy, ingercooper|dancers, Mary Grace McNally and Artists, Jessie Young, Sophie Tibiletti, and Bryn Cohn + Artists.
